Privacy Policy — AbacuX Connector

What we collect

When you install AbacuX Connector, we store:

• Your shop domain and a Shopify API access token (encrypted in our database).
• The AbacuX ERP credentials you provide (encrypted in our database).
• Sync records for products, orders, returns, fulfillments and stock movements. For an order this includes the buyer's name, email address, phone number and billing and shipping addresses, because those are the fields your ERP needs to raise the sales order.

How we use it

Data is used solely to synchronise your Shopify store with your AbacuX ERP system. We do not sell, share or use your data for any other purpose, and we do not use it for marketing or automated decision-making.

Data is transmitted between Shopify, this app and your ERP over HTTPS.

Data retention & deletion

• Synchronisation logs are retained for up to 90 days and are then deleted automatically. Logs of failed syncs are kept longer so the failure can still be investigated, but the customer's personal details are stripped out of them at 90 days and the record itself is deleted at 180 days.
• Data can be removed sooner in response to a valid deletion request.
• When you uninstall the app, your access token is deactivated immediately.
• We handle Shopify's mandatory compliance webhooks. On a customer data request we compile the data we hold for that customer and provide it to you. On a customer erasure request we remove that customer's personal details from our records, keeping only non-identifying references such as order and SKU identifiers.
• On a shop erasure request, sent by Shopify 48 hours after uninstall, we delete all data held for your shop.
• You can request deletion at any time by emailing us.
